Today, The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) organized a stakeholder event on Anonymization and Pseudonymization, looking for inputs and advise on how to adapt their guidelines to the recent developments in the European legislation (e.g. based on the EDPS vs. SRB court case). Represented by Prof. Meiko Jensen from the PriSec Group at Karlstad University, TRUMAN provided inputs, among other issues, on specific questions regarding the anonymity and/or pseudonymity status of machine learning models, and the respective legal obligations to ML model utilizers. The results of the event will be published by EDPB soon.
